I can only imagine

I am a single father of two children. Over the past two years we have saw devastating events take place in regards to our fiscal responsibility towards our economy.

I work hard every day for the many Americans that need these benefits extended. I could only imagine what it is like to lose everything you have because your employer decided to save a few dollars by outsourcing the entire company. I can only imagine the many that have children and no work in the small towns they come from due to the fact that what was once a prosperous coal business is now a quarry filled with water.

I can only imagine myself losing the god given resources that keep my family afloat in this recession that just won't end. I would need help from my government. Being that we are blessed enough to live in the best country on Earth I can only imagine that I would be able to recieve help from my government. Not just temporary but until I could find a job to support my 2 children and myself.

If that didnt happen as fast as I wanted it to, I would need the extended benefits to just pay for housing and clothes and food for my childrens mouths. That sounds to me like a nightmare. I can only imagine how there are people living that way every day in the greatest country in the world, and worrying about even that being taken away because our Congress cant get their heads around the fact that they are making our country almost inhumane by even making it an issue to stop the extention of unemployment benefits.

I have signed the petition at momsrising.org and I ask that you do as well. I pledge to work for those who need my help. I can only imagine my country stopping the political pandering. The in fighting over money, money, money.
I can only imagine our two party system actually working for once. Stopping the playing of politics because one has the majority and wants to get there nominee in the WhiteHouse. I can only imagine a better country run by better people with less greed, less need, and more chances for all us Americans to succeed. I can only imagine...!
